Dinner was really yummy! Grandma enjoyed it as did the rest of the
family. The highlight of the night, for me, was the sweet and sour pork.
Seriously, nothing beats super fresh fried pork that's drenched in
sweet and sour sauce and served crispy and piping hot. I could have eaten that whole
plate myself, but you already knew that. That eggplant dish was served
in a fire bowl and was pure flavour goodness! I love eggplants.
Everything else was nothing less than delicious. I especially love that
this restaurant usually serves 2 or 3 different types of desserts. I
ordered the tofu-fa, but also tasted the black sesame soup and another
soup like dessert made from black glutinous rice. All three were good,
but the tofu-fa is my favourite. :) We also had Mother's Day dinner with my mom as well as a get together with Rich's family! Posts to come. I left my camera at Rich's place...whoops. What did you do for mum for Mother's Day? |
