Review: Revlon, Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart

Revlon's ColorBurst lip butters have been all the rage and you can read up on it on basically every beauty blog and watch thousands of YouTube videos about it! Therefore, I will won't be thoroughly reviewing it. I will, however state that there isn't one thing I dislike about these pretty little lippies!

The colour Sweet Tart is fresh and lovely (it's a medium watermelon pink, no shimmer, translucent on the lips), the texture is super buttery, not waxy. I suppose moisturizing (and I say this only because my lips are already quite hydrated) too, as this definitely doesn't dry them out! I picked it up on sale from Shoppers Drug Mart for $3.99. What a steal!

My sleep sad girl.

Her ears still aren't 100% and I'm concerned. It's been about two weeks. One of them healed to 95%, but it started to get bumpy and irritated again. The other one which was the better of the two when this all started is now the more infected one. I gave her her second dose of Revolution a couple days ago. We apply ointment on them twice a day. She's eating, but not enough and I can tell that she's lost weight. GET BETTER CUTE THING! <3

  2. Thanks Denise, I'm super sad that she's like this. :P She literally mopes around all day and just lays on the couch/someones bed. Cat depression?

  4. Hi Mary!
Sorry to hear about your pup and his allergies! What's he allergic to?
I think Tank might have allergies too, possibly of the food variety. I really have no idea and I'm totally stressed and about to have a melt down. Googling just makes it worse.. lol We're going to a new vet tomorrow! So hopefully with 30+ years of experience under his belt, he'll know whats up.

Boo to allergies! Both human and animal kinds. Does your dog get pooped when he's got his cone on? I hope he gets better reaaaaallly soon!!

He has seasonal allergies. Such a pain in the ass and it can be pretty expensive, too! Is this the first time she's having some kind of a reaction? If so, then I'd lean more towards food allergies. Your vet might suggest some kind of bloodwork to determine what she's allergic to.

My dog uses Benadryl for his seasonal allergies. MUCH cheaper than the kind they prescribe at the vet's office and not as heavy. My bf lives in Thornhill and we used to go to this vet on Dufferin and Steeles (they've moved) and they were HORRIBLE. Like, they'd always suggest something intrusive before anything else. I hate veterinarians who are more concerned with making money than caring for the animals.

I go to a vet near my house (West Side Animal Hospital) and I love them.

And my dog has to wear one pretty much every year, so he's a little used to it. It's more annoying to him than anything, really. I'm sure Tank's pooped because she's not used to having something like that around her neck. And I hope she feels better really soon, too! Thanks :-D . I hate it when they get sick because they can't just tell you what's wrong with them. It's like a guessing game that usually ends up with me in tears and in fetal position on the ground.

  6. Aw, poor puppy! I'm guessing he gets the itchies? :( I hope his allergies don't last long!

We saw the new vet today. I got a much better impression from him that the other vet. He was a lot more thorough and gave options from less intrusive to most (biopsy).

I live in Thornhill too! I agree with you about vets who think about money first and animals second. The new vet we go to is at Don Mills and Steeles. It's in a dumpy plaza but the place inside looks great.

lol Tank can't navigate with a cone. It like impairs her vision or something and she gets so confused! As for tears - I totally had a melt down the other night! :P

Hi, I'm Janetta from Toronto. I cook, bake and make big messes. I photograph nearly everything and those photos will most likely end up being posted here. I've got a little black cat named Tank, who's super cute and a little bit nosy. You'll see a lot of photos of her too!
