Maison du Japon, All You Can Eat

Maison du Japon is our family's go to place for AYCE Japanese food!
Dinner includes sashimi along side other specialties like shrimp, octopus and various special rolls.
Prices are average, though vegans would probably get their money's worth going to lunch instead of dinner.
New decor! It looks a lot more modern and swanky than before.
Chandeliers and lighted flower accents were a nice touch.
Edamame, served warm with a touch of salt

Small salad with yummy Japanese dressing and cucumbers

This was our first platter of sashimi! Loads of salmon and surf clams.

Avocado rolls

Salmon sashimi, avocado roll, mango roll and surf clams

Fresh shrimp tempura, served with a tentsuyu sauce

Spider roll (soft shell crab) and some kind of dragon roll (shrimp tempura)

Spicy salmon hand roll (fav!) and one with BBQ eel for gramps

Grilled eggplant with dipping sauce and grilled beef spare ribs

Grilled makerel (left) and pieces of fried salmon belly

A mix of sweet potato and taro tempura

Our second platter of salmon sashimi and surf clams!

My brother's cold soba noodles

Just for fun, popcorn chicken! Which was slightly spicy, served with Japanese mayonnaise

Salmon rose sushi

Pan fried beef cubes with lots of slices caramelized garlic

BBQ eel fried rice! So good.

Fried octopus tentacles. Yummy!

Sautéed mushrooms, super buttery

My brother's green tea ice cream and some squishing action.

Mango ice cream!
We're always satisfied when we go to Maison du Japon for dinner! Now that they've updated their restaurant, it's an even better experience. We went with my Grandpa (for an early Father's Day dinner), Grandma, two of my Aunts and my family of four. I think it's safe to say that every single one of us left stuffed to the brim. Service here is better than most Asian/Chinese/AYCE places as they are fast, efficient, attentive and for the most part happy to see you. There are a lot of non-asian customers that frequent Maison du Japon, so a majority of the staff working there will understand and speak English! Our food came fast, it was fresh and well portioned. Overall, great AYCE place and we'll definitely be returning.
