I always enjoy sharing a good meal with my family. Sometime a couple weeks ago, I had dinner with my grandma and aunt at Ginger & Onion Cuisine located in Markham. We were a table of six as my my mum, pops and brother were there as well. This is one of the restaurants that we go to fairly often when we dine out for Chinese food. I personally like it, because the service is friendly, food is tasty, it's served fast and there is always several different kinds of desserts offered! I'm not a huge fan of sweet red bean soup, but love
tao fu fa (tofu pudding) and black sesame 'soup'.

First, we were served piping hot soup. |

The soup had pork and various other ingredients in it that made it taste rich and flavourful! I had three bowls. So good. |

Super yummy sweet and sour pork with peppers, onions and pineapple chunks |

Fried green beans with beef in a black bean and garlic sauce |

Steamed chicken, eaten with a savory chopped green onion and garlic oil. |

Blacks of fried tofu, giant fish (tail) and vegetables |

Eggplant dish with a black bean sauce, served in a bowl that was like, a million degrees. |

I had my favourite dessert- tao fu fa with a ginger syrup |

and black sesame soup. Sounds funny but it's SO good! |
I'm not very good (understatement!) at telling you what all the authentic names of these dishes are, but I ate them and I can tell you that every single dish was delicious! :P
