I got to hang out with Rich's brother's family this Halloween and I decided to bake something to take along. There can never too much sugar on this holiday! I've actually made these cookies twice this week- they are just that good and that EASY! Did I mention they are vegan, yet still chewy with crisp edges and don't contain a tonne of fat? Yeah, kind of like magic!
I dyed the dough orange and added peanut butter chips and chocolate chunks making them pretty ooey inside. Mmm! (The colour scheme was pretty reminiscent to Reese's. Totally accidental!) I had no idea how I wanted to decorate them, so I took some course sugar, got three zip baggies and poured some in following with a couple drops/smidgens of liquid/paste food colouring. Then I shook them around, added edible glitter dust, let it dry for a few minutes and voila! DIY coloured sugar. I chose vibrant purple, neon green and black. Witches barf, I like to call it!
I'll post the recipe soon, pinky swear. :)

This was my Halloween make up!
Nothing really special, just me with more than usual make up and foundation three shades too light. I contoured using a darker colour (muddy bronzer), applied brighter and heftier eyeshadow and did a super pale lip with a smudge of dull plum purple in the inner edge of my lips to get that...not so healthy look.
I was thinking about applying vampire teeth, but forgot. I was going to add blood, but never got to it. There was pizza on the table and well, pizza won over fake blood! I hope everybody had a fabulous Halloween!
