I'd normally order their homeburger, but I wanted to try their turkey burger this time around. I had mine with lettuce, hot peppers, onions, guk sauce and barbeque sauce and it was really good!
The patty was juicy and flavourful. Although it was charred a little more than I'd prefer, it was good enough for me to want to order it again.
Rich ordered a a natureburger, with an extra patty ($3) and got it dressed with lettuce, tomatoes, a single ring of onion, ketchup and a strawberry. The usual! I've got to tell you- Lick's has one of the best vegan burgers around (aside from the ones made by Gardien, those are #1)!
There was no one behind us when we ordered (and it was around 6pm), but as we were chowing down, that's when everybody came in. Families and even police officers got in on the deal! Who wouldn't? 50¢ burgers that are cooked fresh, hot off the grill, topped with whatever you want? Yes please!!
