Sure, I could zap it in the microwave and enjoy it warmed, but I've recently found myself preferring to eat it cold, like a pasta salad. It also minimizes the time it takes for me to get it out of the fridge and into my stomach, ha! Plus, it's nice to eat something cold for a meal especially when it's warm outside! (Something that has been M.I.A. here in Toronto the last few days. It felt like what late autumn would be like! My plants, which I was hardening off outside were not happy about the 1°C overnight temperatures. They are actually quite sad and got wilt-y, which ended up in me bringing them inside for safety.)
I added a couple tablespoons of my favourite bottled salad dressings (Kraft's Asian Sesame) to the noodles along with some herbs, fried garlic, garlic chili sauce and called it a meal. Fast and delicious!
The dressing has the perfect balance of sweet, tangy and savory, which makes this a very popular condiment in my household. There's currently two back-up bottles in the pantry/storage room. I imagine that it would be delicious not only on salads and noodles, but on chicken as a marinade or a sauce as well.
Oh, ya...I've been obsessing and secretly hoarding limes and adding it to my beverages and working them into my dinner menus. At 6¢ a piece, it's the perfect time to stock up! I love citrus!
