If you've been reading my blog, you'll know how I feel about Korean spicy stir fried pork (Dwaejigogi-bokkeum). I had a bit of a hankering the other day so in an attempt to make this dish a bit healthier, I substituted sliced chicken breast for pork belly. Another reason for this was because chicken happened to be the protein being thawed in the fridge. Despite the swap, the result was still super delicious!
The recipe I used came from Maangchi. She's got videos to go along with her recipes and lots of photos too. There's no excuse not to make this!
I think next time I'll try it with deboned chicken thighs or sliced pork. I've even made pork ribs with this yummy sweet/spicy sauce and it came out delish! It's probably amazing on everything, so don't be surprised to see this slathered on say...a burger. :)
