Tuesday nights are my nights to make dinner. I love it. We had breaded and baked marinated porkchops with sides of brussel sprouts and roasted yellow potatoes. To boost up the "healthiness" of the meal, I used whole wheat bread crumbs, wheat bran and ground oats (50/25/25) to coat it. This made for a super hearty and crispy crust. The meat was super juicy inside, thanks to the marinade/egg dip they were slathered in. Easy dinners like this make everyone happy!
$6 for 6 very generously sized pork chops
$2.00 for 10lbs of potatoes (probably used three pounds)
and brussel sprouts at around $2.00/lb
This meal was big enough to feed 6 and better yet, for less than $10.
