| Festive candy! |
I know it's well past Christmas, but better late than never, right? Is everybody enjoying the fresh start to the new year? I'm so sick of turning on the television and watching commercials trying to rake in new seasonal clients. You know, the ones that swear that their new year's resolution is to exercise more and to loose weight and/or the pounds they gained over the holiday but then don't return after March, because...life returns back to normal? Rich has noticed an increase of new people, which means longer waiting times for work out machines at prime hours. It's expected, so it's nothing new it's just a waiting game, now.
Speaking of gyms, I'm considering going back! Not back to the same one Rich goes to (we met there, in yoga class!) but to the one at the local community center. Apparently there's a newly built establishment over there and it's super close by. I miss yoga and the elliptical and random classes that make you sweat your balls off. BALLSSSSSS!!!
I'll keep you updated. :)
Okay, okay back on to what this post really is about. Christmas dinner at my Aunt & Uncle T's new house! We had dinner there on Christmas Day with my Aunt T's parent's from Newfoundland. My family and I were lucky enough to dine on a traditional "
Newfie jigg's" dinner. Delicious!! It was all really, really good and my favorite dish was the
pease pudding. I could have eaten an entire pot of that stuff, it was so tasty. I might have to make some. It won't be as good or the same, but it'll tide me over until next year.
