This frosting, was so so sooo good. Not too sweet, super fluffy and it doesn't call for a huge amount of fat. I made it using an old recipe for flour frosting, which calls for cooking flour and milk (alternative) together into a paste then whipping it with granulated sugar and v.butter. It sounds funny, but the results are amazing.
By substituting a couple tablespoons of v.butter for vegetable shortening, the frosting was able to withstand a little more heat/humidity than usual without compromising on mouth feel. The batch I made was flavoured with mint and vanilla extracts with crushed chocolate chips mixed in. It tasted just like mint chocolate chip ice cream- we even ate the it frozen!
Now let's just see if I can find the doctored recipe that I scribbled down on a scrap piece of paper.
Legos are fun, until you step on them by accident. Then fun turns into rage which leads to a lot of swearing with a side of pain. Luckily I have been able to avoid this.
Actually, no. I stepped on a Mega Blok not too long ago and it hurt like a mthrfker. Does that count? They're basically oversized Lego.
